In the framework of the Tenth Latin American Encounter of Socially Responsible Companies, Grupo Bimbo received the ESR (Empresa Socialmente Responsable) distinction for the seventeenth consecutive year.

This acknowledgement, bestowed by the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (Mexican Center for Philanthropy), values businesses’ commitment and responsibilities towards the community and the environment. The distinction is obtained through a process that takes into consideration organizations’ four spheres: business ethics, associates’ quality of life, environmental protection and ties with the community.

Grupo Bimbo met the established standards and is thus among the 11 Latin-American companies that have received this acknowledgement for 17 years.

So, it is through concrete actions that Grupo Bimbo reaffirms its purpose to build a sustainable, highly productive and deeply humane company.
