The fast soccer playing fields in Ciudad Deportiva facilities were the venue for the eight Regional Champion teams to compete for a place in the National Finals from the 21 to the 23 of June. The values fostered by Bimbo during the event, such as: respect, companionship, discipline and teamwork were guests of honor and prevailed throughout the matches played.
For over five months and with the support of friends and relatives during the Tournament, there were over 46,000, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade boys and girls -from both public and private elementary schools- participating in this event. Forty cities were represented in the competition for boys, and eight cities participated in the girls’ branch. Scouts from different professional soccer teams attended the event.
Each one of the girls in the winning teams for each city received a personal computer as prize for their soccer achievements and performance, and to support them in their academic training.
