The new facilities –each built on an area of more than 15 thousand square meters- will allow GB to integrate, in a single place, several operations of their leading brands: Bimbo, Marinela, Barcel and Ricolino.
A leader in the baking industry in the Brazilian market, Bimbo do Brasil confirms it is opening its first plant in the Federal District, being it the eighth plant in the country.
Bimbo Argentina, a subsidiary company of Grupo Bimbo, will invest 30 million US dollars in the construction of its sixth production plant in that South American country.
So far, 14 companies were selected by the Environmental Research Organization Eiris and by the Anahuac del Sur University. Grupo Bimbo is one on the list that will be included in the new BMV ESG Index.
It is the fourth time Grupo Bimbo grants this distinction to acknowledge the most important works of the scientific community in the nutrition and food technology areas.
